Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
in the state of georgia can you be arrested without evidence or just becasue someone said u did something

You can be arrested anywhere once a policeman has probable cause.
Someone saying you did something IS evidence if they have actual knowledge.
The statement of someone is evidence. If my wife of 25 years accuses me of a rape, stating that it happened four months ago, I will be arrested. If my neighbor says he saw me stealing his lawnchairs, I will be arrested. If a stranger tells the police that I harassed and threatened him inside of the Walmart, I will be arrested. If the loss prevention at Walmart tells the police that he saw me steal combs (without any video) I will be arrested. All of the examples involve evidence that consists solely of the testimony of a person (no DNA, physical evidence, fingerprints, videotape, confession, etc.)
