Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
how to stop forfeiture of bond
My grandson was arrested and incarcerated when he had a court date to appear for another matter. He was out on property bond and when released was not told to go to court late. How can we keep him out of jail and keep property.

Proof of incarceration from the jail should work to keep the bond from being forfeited. Chances are, the court was made aware that your grandson was incarcerated during the calendar call for the court date in the other matter.
