If im stopped for invalid tag and insurance, is that a valid reason to search my car?

If stop valid and if you consent to search; if there are other facts you "forgot" to include (smell of burnt or raw MJ, DUI, etc.) the officer may conduct a warrantless search depending on the conditions notwithstanding your Fourth Amendment rights.
