Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Tpo

My friends husband took out a TPO on her after she had a mental breakdown, now diagnosed as bipolar. At the first hearing the husband wanted 90 days more and judge said no 30, due in part to her psychiatrists letter stating her improvement and readiness to come home. We feel as though the husband may be up to something, he tried not to submit the letter from the doctor to the judge but my friend told the judge of the letter and then he was ordered to turn it over. He claims he loves her and wants her back with the family, yet his actions say other wise. What are her legal rights that can protect her and support her at the next hearing? On a side note, I'm not sure if I picked the right area of law as criminal this may be considered family law.

Re: Tpo

I am not sure that I understand what you suspect the husband may be trying to do. If your friend has concerns that a separation or divorce may be down the road, she should arrange a consultation with an attorney.
