Is there anyway to turn your community service into a fine or get it dismissed all together?

That question is probably a good way to get a judge to put you in jail. (Try asking it to the judge and see what happens).
In some very limited cases, there may be procedures, which are complex, where you can get counsel and seek to modify terms of some sentences. This requires a lawyer, and will certainly not work in most cases.
