Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
I currently have a valid Georgia Weapons Carry License, and I was arrested almost 2 years ago for a non-violent felony, and bonded out of jail. I have no prior arrest record. I had the carry permit long before the arrest. There were no conditions to my release, and I have not received any notice of the permit being suspended. As a matter of fact, I have still not received my first court date and it is coming up to 2 years since the arrest. I have been able to purchase firearms since the arrest. Am I still allowed to carry my guns under my permit since I have not technically been charged with anything and presume I am innocent until proven guilty?

Convicted felons cannot own or be in possession of firearms but I would consult your attorney to be sure that there are no special conditions on your bond.
