I have violated my probation and have a warrent for my arrest. I don't want to have to do alot of jail time because I have two childern that me doing time will affect. I was charged with a mui, pui, and disorderly conduct. I was sentenced to 12 months probation and completeion of a substance abuse program. If I turn myself in how much time am I looking at doing and how much of a difference will it make it I turn myself in opposed to letting them catch me? I need help. Thanks in advance.

Re: help

You would likely have to serve your original sentence plus any additional time for the new crimes. You may want to hire an attorney to help you negotiate your plea.

Re: help

It is always going to be worse to wait to get caught than to turn yourself in. You should hire a good criminal attorney IMMEDIATELY (we do not take this type case), and he will arrange for your surrender and possible hearings and/or bond.
