Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Violation of probation
My fiance is on probation for a misdemeanor and this is his 3rd violation his fines are paid off and his ladt day of probation is July 10th, can he just sit there until the end of his period, or will they give him more time?

Are you saying he has a new pending charge or alleged violation of probation? He is likely in jeopardy of having his probation either extended or revoked. If revoked, then he stands to go back to jail for a period. Remember: Probation is a privilege, not a right. It's time he would have otherwise spent in jail. He needs a good criminal lawyer -- preferably from the area where this is pending.
