Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Warrant removal/Statuate of limitations

I have a forgery warrant in Dekalb County from June of 2000. What is the statue of limitations and how do I get the warrant dropped? Do I have to appear in court?

Re: Warrant removal/Statuate of limitations

Statute of limitations is atricky thing. Its not as simple as staying out of court until it runs. Lots of issues can stop the clock. Most likely you would need to eventually appear. Pls call if i can help.

Re: Warrant removal/Statuate of limitations

THERE IS NO STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS - the warrant will continue to show and will continue to be open. You MUST show up in court to handle the matter and get rid of the warrant.

feel free to contact my officer regarding this or any other matter. 2127098303
