Depending on the amount of marijuana, the court, and other things, you could face anything from a fine to many years in jail.

If you get charged with marijuana you will get arrested, and given a bond. After you bond out you will be given a court date, which will be your arraignment date. If you plead guilty (depending on the amount) you will get probation, jail time. community service and a fine. In addition, your driver's license will be suspended. If you are not a citizen, you may be deported. If you plead not guilty, what will happens depends on the quality of your attorney.
