Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Will there be any law/statute passed in the near future to reduce jail/prison time for offenders currently serving for non-violent offenses? If so, who would qualify?

I would not begin to guess what this year's general assembly may do at the last minute, but there are ongoing efforts, some targeted to be addressed in future years, to revamp probation, misdemeanor and traffic laws and other aspects of the criminal code. I doubt any are likely to affect people already sentenced, but changes in probation and parole, if passed, may have some effect.

That is not a legal question. That is a question for the fortune tellers at the circus. Good luck
