Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
How many witnesses does the prosecution need in order to successfully try a case in court? What if they don't have any or just one?

Since you chose to give no facts whatsoever (what is the charge, and what are the facts), there is no way to answer you. Some cases may not require many witnesses. Some may. EVERY criminal case requires a defense lawyer.

They only need one, IF it is the right one. The prosecutor cannot try a case without any witnesses, but since someone was arrested by the police, I know the prosecutor has at least one witness, the arresting officer, who may have procured a confession.
