Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
After work I walk into a bar to pick up some friends, (I am the DD), fight breaks out in front of me, someone shoves me into the fight. The next thing I know I am on the ground unable to breathe as a cop is on top of me. I am charged with disorderly conduct and held at the location for hours. They have taken my phone and wallet and gave it to one of the people I was there to pick up. What steps should I take to get out of this mess?
