Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Hello, I'm working on a criminal justice assignment for college in Georgia. I read on georgialegalaid.org that in Georgia, as long as you're in public and not driving a vehicle, that you do not have to disclose basic identification information if requested by the officer. Is this true? And if so, what steps would the officer then take to identify the client?

If you're driving and don't show the officer your license and insurance card he likely will make an arrest for no license and no insurance and impound the car. The internet is an awful often incorrect or incomplete tool.
