Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
Last year my fiance was accused of a charge he had a probation hearing that lead to his probation being revoked and him sunt to prison few months later he had a trial for that charge but the charges was dismissed.he was supposed to go up for parole in Dec but the board said he was not applicable they grided him off the charge that was dismissed is that possible?

YE, because it is two different standards. Jury trial is beyond a reasonable doubt. Violation of probation is by a preponderance of the evidence. Good luck.
