Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Georgia

What does a Final Report and Recommendation of Summary Judgment means? Is this the time for a Plaintiff to file an Appeal or Motion for Reconsideration. Should the Plaintiff just wait for a Dockett entry of Summary Judgment--not Final Report and Recommendation--does this document leaves more to be said or done on the Plaintiff's part?

It is the Magistrate Judge's recommendation to the District Judge on how the summary judgment motion should be resolved. Both sides have 10 days after being served with a copy of the R&R within which to serve and file specific written objections to the proposed findings and recommendations. If they do not file objections, the R&R gets presented to the District Judge as is, and the District Judge may enter it as a Final Judgment of the Court. At that point, you would have 30 days within which to file a Notice of Appeal.
