Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Georgia
Promotion - Recall
In 2003 I was given a promotion to senior supervisor with a pay increase and a change in pay level. The plant manager left the later part of 2004 and the new plant manager is demoting me after he found out what pay level I was at in 2005. He found out while he was giving merit increase which i did not receive an increase because he said I was max out at my pay level I told him he had me at the wrong pay level and now he is wanting to put me back in a lower pay level. Is this grounds for discrimination and do I have a legal case.

Re: Promotion - Recall
It is impossible to give you an answer due to the lack of facts in your posting. Just because you were demoted does not mean that it was due to discrimination. However, it is possible that it was discriminatory, but you would need to have evidence of that.
