Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Georgia
I need help, I have been working at Dillerds for years. I got pregnant, I was working 40 hrs. a week at that time, so my doctor thought that was to mouch on my feet. I got a doctors note for work. Dillerds toled me I can not woke there with a doctors note, they toled me to go home. I went to the EEOC in ATL. for Discrimination, they wanted to settle with just three thousand dollers. so I got a lawyer. I feel like she is takeing her time and not takeing this serious, what do i do?

Discuss the case with your lawyer IN PERSON and explain your concerns. If the conversation does not clear up the situation with your lawyer, you are free to hire a new lawyer and fire your current lawyer. However, your current lawyer will have a lien on any recovery you make for the amount of any work your current lawyer did on your case up to now.
