Bench warrant in Georgia
I have a bench warrant from the state of Georgia from a dui arrest in 1985 The bond was forfeited by the bail bondsman. Can I get the warrant vacated if I use an atty. without having to appear in court.

Re: Bench warrant in Georgia
It is very difficult (if not impossible) to get a bench warrant lifted without making an appearance. Some judges may even give you a few hours or days in jail to teach a lesson. You would need to have a good excuse for failing to appear and the case would need to be resolved. If you want to discuss it, feel free to contact my office at 4045299081.
