I was charged with underage consumption about a week ago. My court date is in May. I was driving at the time and went through a roadblock, but I was just charged with underage consumptionI live in Georgia. What would be the best approach to take when I go to court? I am a full time student and I work full time so I cannot lose my license or go to jail.

You can do one of two things.
You can go to court on your own, and likely get fined, go to jail, and carry a criminal record for life.
Or you can get a good lawyer and improve your chances in court.
Why were you charged with underage consumption? Did you have alcohol in the car? Were any containers open?
