Legal Question in DUI Law in Georgia

I had a commercial drivers licence. I down grated to a regular driver licence (AZ) witch is currently good. I am disqualified for CDL for 5 more months in Az due to a DUI. My guestion is can I get a cdl in another state now or do I have to wait out the 5 months?

A disqualification for a CDL in one state is for every state.
