Legal Question in DUI Law in Georgia

convict and expunge

plead guilty to DUI instead of NOLO. Was told by PDefender couldnt do NOLO. Never used a NOLO. I didnt feel Pubdef knew the law too well being as I got the DUI under 21 and am now over 21 or without a law book present. Pretty much represented myself through asking ALOT of questions even to the judge before pleading guilty. My question is can I go back and withdrawl my guilty plea and plea nolo and would that change how the DUI is reflected on my arrest record and/or driving record and is it possible to have it expunged upon completion of mandatory punishment?

Re: convict and expunge

in ga a nolo plea to dui has virtually no effect on what happens to you , however, if you were ineffectively represented or were not properly advised of rights you may be able to withdraw plea if not too late...

You have not supplied enough information. I need to know how long ago you were in court, what court. Nolo doesn't apply to under 21.
