I have just started a new school year and feel overwhelmed. I would like to break my contract,
What would be the best way to go about it?

There is no way to tell you. You don't even provide a bare minimum of facts. Are you in high school, college, trade school, or some other school? Does your contract allow for withdrawals or refunds? We don't have it and you chose to not tell us that either. The only response you can get is to read your contract.
