My father has Alzheimer's. His wife died last week. Her children says he's not the beneficiary on the insurance policy or the Will. We find that hard to believe since she told us before she died that she made sure he'd be cared for financially. He doesn't remember and they're refusing to let us see the documents. What are our options?

Very simple. You see a lawyer Monday (not soon - but Monday). It is very possible they're correct, but to find out you will need to spend money and take legal steps, such as possible filings in court. Unless she planned VERY badly, she would not have made someone with Alzheimer's a direct beneficiary, but she may have planned badly.
