So my father signed a POA to one of my 5 brothers, who lost guardianship of him in a pending Elder Abuse case. The State has granted Temp Guardianship to NSEC and we have been served with notice to Permanent Guardianship. How do we best proceed to retain our Father to the family in another son?
1). Have Chris (2nd son) file the Stand Alone Guardianship/Conservatorship on Chris' own merits, and 2). Chris file an answer affidavit similar to ours naming Chris in answer to the NSEC one with his answer referencing back with receipt number and copy of his own petition's filing.
OR: can the guardianship/ conservatorship application actually be Chris' answer to the NSEC one?

None if the above. This case is way too complex for DIY answers and you may make everything worse. Get s very experienced elder Care lawyer asap.
