can I file to get my father incompentent since he has gone through his life savings of 200 thousand dollars since Dec 09 after my mother died? He has let a grandchild take all of the money and a child of his forge checks on him and thinks its alright. Is even bouncing checks now.

You might seek to become the guardian of his person and property, although it would have been far more helpful to have done that when his assets could have been saved. Discuss the pros and cons with a local attorney, as it is not a simple process and it is a long-term commitment.
