Can I sell Moms house to caregiver granddaughter?
I have 85 year old Mom's POA & am executrix of her will. My 31 year old daughter has been living with her (GA) for 18 months since Alzheimer diagnosis. I pay daughter/caregiver 1/2 of Moms monthly income as she had to quit her job to keep Mom home and out of nursing home. Daughter has built extreme sweat equity making livable the post WW2 house. I want to sell the house to daughter NOW to avoid other family members wanting to sell it when Mom dies. Can I do this?
