Naming products in song lyrics
What steps, if any, do I need to take to legally mention product names in a song? For instance, if the lyric mentions a ''Rubik's Cube'', are there permissions that I need to obtain before using this name? The songs will be sold commercially.

Generally, you are going to need permission in the form of a license to use protected names such as Rubik's Cube.
