Do i need 2 lawyers?

ME and my girlfriend have a son together but she is still married and they wont put my name on the birth certificate. i want to pay for my girlfriends divorce but, i want my name on my sons birth certificate.

One lawyer could handle both if you and she are agreeable. The divorce has to happen first and that divorce must deal with the paternity issue. Right now, and unless a court rules differently in a divorce, that child is her husband's and you canot change that unless she deals with that in the divorce.
