Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

6 months ago my husband had moved to Atlanta to start a job and me and the kids stayed in NC until the school year ended. We just moved here a month ago and he is now leaving me for his mistress who he has been having an affair with for a year. There is a 6 month waiting period for residency. where do I file legal separation or divorce. I do not want to stay in Georgia and I don't want to be stuck here with the kids.

If you move back to NC you probably will have to file here in GA anyway

Contact a local Divorce Attorney in Peachtree City (Fayette County) and make sure he/she has handled this type of situation before
