5 moves a year and a half and an attack

my ex got custody of my son in February of 2008. In March of 2008 he moved a woman and her two kids in with him and my son from California. My son finished out the school year and then I got notice his dad was moving. So they move. He starts the school year in one school and then I get notice they are moving again. His great reason? The apartments they were living in did not allow dogs so off they went to a new place in a new county and a new school. A month after that move the woman had some issues with my ex and even though they stayed together in a relationship he moved into his mother's house. Another county another school another address. That's three in one school year. Well I just got notice. They are moving AGAIN. He is moving BACK in with the woman who put him out AND this woman is being investigated because she ATTACKED me in May. Did I mention I was nine months pregnant in May. And did I also mention that she did this IN FRONT OF MY SON. We are already going to court and I've filed for a change of custody. Does this seem like a stable enviornment or am I ''overreacting'' as my ex said, or do I have a case against him
