Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have a 14 year old son who lives in Louisiana and has recently told me that he desires to live with me. I have joint legal custody with his mother which was established in Mississippi. I live in Georgia so what are the appropriate steps to take to gain custody of son?

I am going to guess and assume the following facts, however, if the following is not the case, this answer will be wrong. I am assuming mom has physical custody and has lived in Louisiana at least 6 months.

Based on what I added you would have to hire a lawyer in Louisiana and file a case there.
