The obvious first option is to delete the facebook account. You should assume that anything on Facebook, or anywhere else on the internet, is public information and free game for anyone to get and use. If there is something on FB that will harm you or your child, that is a problem in itself. Otherwise, you are asking lawyers on a message board why your child does what you tell him not to do. That is a family issue. In many households with children, BOTH parents have access to their child's FB account, including passwords and their child understands this is a condition of having the account. Again, without excusing the snooping (which from a parent/step if often OK), the question is what is on FB that could harm ANYONE?
