14 yr old rights

can the 14 year old child decide to live with someone besides his parents. and also can the 14 yr old child's father have the people he is staying with arrested for anything? if yes what?

No. In a divorce, a child over 14 is entitled to have the judge decree that he be allowed to live with the parent he prefers, unless that parent is found to be unfit by the court. But there is no law which gives a 14 year-old the right to just unilaterally leave his parents and go live elsewhere just because he/she chooses to. And yes, any person that child is living with could be charged with interference with custody if he/she refuses to turn the child back over to the parents on demand. If this kid is being told to come home, this kid needs to get home, unless he and the people he is staying with wish to tempt fate and a police visit. I would add that custodial interference is increasingly being viewed as a serious crime.
