Are there any accommodations made in the child support obligation when custody is changed from sole to joint physical. The once non custodial parent now having the children for 6 months.

It would be up to the Court. At the time custody is changed, support would be recalculated. Discuss this with your attorney (it is NOT a do it yourself project to do a modification).
