Actions successful business man/husband/father to take when wife threatens divor
My wife is accusing me of adultery/porno addiction and now threatens divorce. I don't want to be divorced. Given threat of divorce, what should I do now to protect my financial interests & assure the best relationship possible with my children.
Background Facts:
1. My first marriage, my wife's second,
2. Been married 15 years,
3. Wife has 2 adult kids from prior marriage,
4. Two kids together now ages 8 and 12,
5. Wife rummaged my office and found some adult magazines, a box of condoms, and scribble notes I made regarding curiosity conversation with an escort service
6. Wife hired detective who saw me entering a massage parlor that detective says is known to have been stung as an alleged sex shop
7. Based on #5 and #6, wife conjectures that I am a porno addict and an adulturer,
8. Items mentioned in #5 and #6 are accurate. On occasion I do pick up an adult magazine, visit Hooters, etc. With the ''aides awareness'' campaigns bars have handed out condoms (which I saved in box as a souvenir). I did go to massage spa and receive body massage but no sex.
9. Within last day wife has become verbally abusive, throwing water/ice at me, trying to physically push me out of the bed, over and over she ''hates me''. thx, ac
