Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Adultry

Please dont make fun of this. This is hard enough to even talk about! A woman dates a man for 5 months. She lives in GA & he lives just over in AL. but came to her house & stayed. He said, ''he has been divorced for 5 yrs.'' They make plans to get a house, plans for the future, marriage, he even ask her kids where they want to live, etc. Not until the 5 month does she finds out he is still married. She tells him she found out he lied & he is still married but still loves him but he needs to get a divorce. He says he loves her and the kids very much but they need to talk because he doesnt want to have his 20 yr old daughter hate him for leaving his wife. Then he disappears with NO contact and without NO EXPLANATIONS. She has tried to contact him for explanations but he doesnt answer the phone or text messages. IF this woman wanted, does she have any ''legal'' grounds on which to sue him'' for all the lies to her and her children? And, she thinks she might be pregnant, maybe just stress from being upset but what are her options here if she is pregnant, does she have to tell him she is pregnant if she is? Please this is not a game and this woman needs help.

Thank you.

Re: Adultry

You (or whoever you are talking about) need serious counseling, not a lawyer if the response was anything other than running away from the guy. Obviously, it was not. For the benefit of the children, seek help.
