Married over 23 yrs, 15, 19 daug, husband has 2 chikd outside marriage, asked for divorce, he wants to pay me off, without any proceeds from business, alimony, and minimal property, he keeps home. He states the law will not allow him to pay child support for 2 families, and I don't deserve alimony and he cant be forced to pay, because i elected to try an make the marriage work, business belongs to him although i have 25% stock, he offered me employment, I have worked since 1994 for business and was paid for only 2 years, although he recd pay every week, I do not have an atty, but filed on 8/9/02, would you advise whether or not I need an attorney.

Absolutely you should get an attorney. Your husband is just wrong about most if not all he told you.

You definitely need to contact a local attorney to assist you in this matter. There are some very complex issues that may be involved. Please do not listen to what your husband is saying to you because there is no legal basis to his statements. GOOD LUCK!!
