Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Amend divorce to allow me to move out of state w/kids

I filed my divorce on my own using a premade divorce packet in Morgan County Georgia in November of 2007. The divorce was granted. In the divorce it lists me as the primary custodian of our children (age 6 and 3). However, it states that if I move to another state or X amount of miles away my ex husband will become the primary custodian. At the time I had no intention of moving, but now I have moved on and I am engaged to a man. We live in Georgia, and we are both young, my fiancee has a great job opportunity to work in Florida for his uncle, whom will also help him pay for community college while we are there, as well as give him the flexible hours needed to go to school. My question is how do I go about amending the divorce so I don't lose custody when my ex won't agree. (He doesn't want full custody either though, but I wouldn't be surprised if he took them for awhile or just used it as a bargaining chip if I did move.)

Get a lawyer, if the kids and custody have any importance at all to you. You've already seen what can happen by not getting qualified advice.
