How do I answer to a petition for legitimation?

My son's father filed a petition for legitimation and I have 30 days to answer at the clerk of courts office. I went in today to ask what I needed to do and the lady refused to give me any info. I have tried contacting family law attorneys for help but since I have no money I cant even get advice or info. Please HELP! Thank you.

It's not really possible to tell you how to respond to a pleading in this forum. You need to get an attorney somehow. Try legal aid.
