Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My Aunt has been diagnosed with a terminal brian cancer. She does not have a will or was never married and has no children. She is not competent to care for herself or make decision. What do I need to do to keep the family out of her home. They are wanting to take things that do not belong to them.

You can petition the court to become her guardian and have power over her financial affairs. If you are able to obtain this power, you can then take control of the house and sue those who have stolen items of the house.

You are in Bowie, Maryland, where does your Aunt live in Georgia?
