Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I am in a very bad situation that I have no idea o toget out of.
I had financial problems a few years ago and was unable to pay the full amount agreed upon in my divorce. The case worker understood my situation and said "keep paying steady reasonable payments and things wold be fine".
Then suddenly this same cse worker stopped excepting payments completely. I assumed this was because of the amount of money deleinquent. She said I should do the right thing, implying that I needed to pay the entire amount or turn myself in to the police. This was when I found out my license had been suspended and there was a warrent for my arrest in Georgia.
Here is were it gets interesting. I recently found out the reason Bartow County Georgia DHR stopped excepting my child support payments. My ex-wife had appairently had given some fraudulent information that resulted in her case being closed.
So I have no ay to pay my child support, but I still have no way to pay my child support. I still have a warrent, no license, and more immportently I can not see my little girls. This has made my current life nearly unbearable. If I can't afford a lawyer what can I do to fix this problem.

First of all, you DO need a lawyer and since you are wanted, you have to turn yourself in. You should have called a lawyer earlier, as one could have helped you more early than now.
You already know the answer as to paying. When DHR stopped accepting payments you had to pay your ex directly. If you chose not to do that, you will have to accept the consequences.
