Bigamy

I got married in Arkansas. We then moved to Georgia. Been in Georgia for 6 months. Found out that my Husbands-? divorce was not final in Virginia until ~5 months after our marriage.

Is my marriage legal, do I have to get a divorce, can he be prosecuted for bigamy and in what state or states. Do I have a right to sue civily and in what state. I need to clear my name of this marriage what are the steps.

Your marriage is obviously not legal. Bigamy charges would be up to prosecutors. If you wish to resolve this, your remedy is a civil one, an annulment case (assuming you have no children with him).
