Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I took my boyfriend to court for a reastraining order in March of 09 In Louisiana. The judge gave us joint custody and my lawyer told me I could not leave the state without his permission. Well I am in Georgia visiting my sister WITH his permission. Since I am already here, do I have to go back? If I go back I wont be able make a life for my son, but here away from him and the abuse I can. Will someone please help?

You could be in trouble and you should be calling your Louisiana attorney who has actually seen your order. It is extremely foolish and dangerous to choose to ignore a judge's order. In some cases you may go to jail or lose custody. You should have asked your lawyer before you left, but call him now.
