If it's ambiguous, a judge is likely, if you were in court, to interpret it in the way that gets it paid. I should add that given the cost of braces, it would be an awful thing to do to the child not to maintain insurance and pay for it regardless of the legalities, but I am focusing on the legal answer, which is a maybe.
