Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My brother in law is living I'm my parents home but does not pay rent never has or no contributions what so ever he left yesterday and then came back and was sayin the cops said he come come back in no matter what even if he left on his own terms is this right?

If that is his residence, which seems to be the case, he can live there until he gets the appropriate notice and eviction procedures are followed.

If he lives there, even without a lease or payment, he is a tenant at will, and to evict him your parents would need to give him 60 days (preferably written) notice, and if he did not move at that point, take him to court.
