Canadian married to an American adulterist and mental abuser, can I get Alimony

I am married to a man who has cheated on me several times and who is mentally abusive to me etc. I am unemployed at this time. My husband is in S. Korea for a year and stop supporting me since he left. I want out of this marriage because of mental angish and the adultery. Can I get finacial help from my husband until I am back on my feet? We have only been married for 2 years and no children.

If he has moved to Korea and established residence in the legal sense you can still file for divorce (at least in Georgia) but a divorce decree is all you can get. However, if he still maintains residence here and is just, e.g., on a job assignment, you can file for divorce here and go for the whole enchilada, including support. However, you will need to pay someone in Korea to get him served with the papers. Your local lawyer can find someone to do this.
