Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I carry insurance on my 3 minor children thru my employer as per my divorce decree. Beyond this, I am responsible for half of medical bills that exceed normal maintenance. Sometime in the last year or so, my ex put the 3 children on Medicaid without my knowledge. Since they are still covered on my insurance, Medicaid is not paying & she is asking me to pay for $1000+ in doctor bills (which my insurance would have covered, less $15 copay.) am I responsible for something like this if I had no knowledge of her decision & have nothing in writing from her of these decisions?

The exact language of the decree (and the parenting plan) matters here, ad you need to let your attorney look at it to answer you.

She obviously did not inform Medicaid the children were insured. I agree with Mr. Ashman, you need to have your order reviewed by an attorney. It is difficult to give a definitive answer without more information.
