Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
If there was a change of status in regards to child support...and the injured party did not take it to court at the time of the change of status - can they three years later ask for money in arrears for the past three years?

If you mean that a child did not receive funds that were in the child's best interest to receive, the answer is "Yes." Matters involving custody and support of minor children should be handled by an attorney. Consider employing counsel at the outset, rather than filing/responding to an action yourself, and then realizing that you need an attorney to try to correct errors that you made.
Your post is not clear, but if someone is suing you to change or increase support, you need legal counsel. Whether they can or cannot succeed depends on details we don't have.
