Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

child born out of wedlock

I have a four year old son who was born out of wed lock. His father has not provided any support, sought visitation or custody. I reside in Ga. and found within the code 19-7-25 a law stating that the unwed mother is entitled to child's custody and in 19-2-4 that the child's domicile should be that of the mother. I am planning on moving to Belize in November, we are driving through mexico which requires the consent of the father. I applied for a passport and filled out the special circumstances form but do not know how it will be recieved. Further, I do not want my son's father to have any authority to intervene or take action against my move. How do I get this domestic law endorsed, sealed, ordered and applied to my particular situation in the most expediant manner?

Foreign nations are not bound by Georgia law. Traveling overseas will present problems U.S. courts cannot resolve.
